Enter the Mayor’s Cup Soapbox Derby Race
The Mayor’s Cup is a Soap Box Derby race that is a competition among Cincinnati’s 52 neighborhoods. The race is for youth ages 8 to 13 and will be held downtown on Central Ave near Paul Brown Stadium on June 27 – 28. If 100 racers participate in the Mayor’s Cup, Mayor Mallory has pledged to increase the 1st place prize to $10,000 for the Community Council that sponsors the winning racer. The Mayor’s Office is currently looking for racers and businesses willing to sponsor neighborhood teams. More information can be found at http://www.cincysbd.com

Mayor Mallory Delivers Optimistic State of the City Address
Mayor Mark Mallory declared tonight that “the state of Cincinnati is strong and we are well prepared to face the challenges of the future.” Tonight, the Mayor delivered his fourth State of the City Address to an energetic crowd of around 900 citizens in the Duke Energy Convention Center’s Grand Ballroom.
